Important Note: The Visible Emissions Training CD is NOT a replacement for field training or certification. You CANNOT certify via a video or computer smoke school. Plumes on the CD illustrate optimum conditions of contrast, however computer monitors differ in resolution and color. The CD DOES allow you to practice and prepare for smoke school every six months, making certification easier and reducing stress. The CD is designed to provide practice in resolving differences in plumes under ideal conditions. Being out of sun angle is a common compliance issue. We designed the SunDog to solve that problem. In less than a minute, you can determine if the sun angle is correct before conducting observations. This can prevent wasting your time, money, and credibility by filing an invalid observation.
